Halloween nail Marble

Feeling in the Halloween spirits I did some halloween colored theme Nail Marbling.

Pumpkin picking

Went pumpkin picking today, complete with awesome corn maze and hay ride!! Really made me feel at home, while not as awesome as some in New England it was awesome none the less. Great times had by all!!

The making of Bryan & Dyllan's Lego Birthday cake

This year I decided I'd make the boys a Lego birthday cake. My first attempt at making homemade fondant too. What a learning experience. While it's not professional baking material it was still a hit at the party and the boys loved it!! Overall success even with my many mishaps.

Final work of the day

This was what I ended up testing and completing today. Took a lot of time to test several polishes today. Water temp would cooperate. Overall not my best but it works for now.

Caddy the Kitten

Caddy is the newest addition to our home. She was originally born in our garage a fee short months ago. Her mother (or our neighbors) decided to take them to live on our neighbors porch for a short while, but not before she stole my heart. Just this past weekend she came over to visit and I ensured she never went back. ;-).

Boys first day of 5th Grade

So the boys started 5th grade yesterday. I was a blubbering fool all day. The boys got themselves up by their own alarm clock. Dressed themselves. Took the dog out. Made and ate their own breakfast. Then headed out the door with out even waking me up!!! I barely made it up in time to get a few first day of school pictures.

Water Nail Marbling

My second attempt at water nail marbling art. Much better this go around.
