Bzzagent Campaign Morning Star Farms Patties

I love the fact that I was able to try these free, and that my husband and kids had no clue they were even trying something new!!  I have definable added it to our regular menu now, and its a sweet way for me to stay on track with my own diet, with out having to cook two different meals for the family.  Great for a quick lunch too!! Especially when I need something to hold me over for several hours!

Wanton Tacos in Muffin pan

Thanks once again to my addiction to Pintrest I have found another nifty and easy recipe that my whole family enjoyed.  I love Taco night at my house, but usually ends up being a big mess making our tacos, or my husband can never eat a warm taco because he's too busy making the boys tacos.  This is even simple enough that kids may want to help!!

You need:
1lb of ground beef or turkey
1 pkg Taco seasoning
Wanton Wraps ( I found mine at Wal Mart in the produce section)
Shredded taco cheese
Cooking spray
Muffin Pan

Brown meat and season per taco seasoning package.  Spray muffin pan with non-stick cooking spray.  Place one wanton wrap per muffin cup.  There will be some overlap when you lay them in there.  Add meat and sprinkle with cheese.  Back at 350 for 10 mins!  Add desired taco toppings from there such as salsa, sour cream, tomatoes, lettuce etc

I think the next time I try this I will put some refried beans in the bottom of each wrap before placing meat on top.

DIY Off the Shoulder T-shirt

Thanks to my addiction to Pintrest I am finally able to put my pile of old t-shirts to use, besides taking up space in my dresser.  Also since I really miss the 80's I am very thankful for some of the 80's style to be coming back and I am able to be in style without spending a dime!!  Win Win!!

I do recommend watching YouTube videos, but not for step by step directions..more for ideas on how you may want to cut your shirt or how you may NOT want to cut it.  I do warn you most "tutorial" videos I found come with a lot of extra "chatter" that has nothing to do with cutting a shirt and often turns me off from watching the video.  So if you like to hear the word like after every like word...then watch...if not you have been warned ;)

The following is some images of my first shirt cutting to create the off the shoulder look.  For now I am just practicing so I really don't care what shirt I am using and if it does not turn out the way I want I can either cut more or my Husband can have it for his scrap cloth pile in garage!

Here is the original T-shirt bought for $5 3 years ago...been worn more than $5 worth..

Here I am just cutting about three finger width on each side of the original collar

Now cutting the seam off the arm just to create the rolled end look

Cut off the bottom seam also so that it will roll up

Folded shirt in half to create even triangles for both sleeves

Cut triangle through both sleeves

After all cuts have been made I pulled/stretched the shirt to make the cuts "roll-up" and make it look more authentic.

Final product

Final product for now I should say.  I am not totally in love with the sleeves and will probably cut away at them some more.  But for my first attempt I am pleased with myself and ultimately that's all that matters ;)

Neon Nail Marble

Before this step I put a single coat of white polish to help boost the neon colors

I used an eye shadow applicator to apply my neon colors in a sponged look.

Then I marbled using a black and shear nail polish.

This was on of the funnest marbles I have done.  I love the way it turned out!!

Shellby Pixie.

The newest edition to our family. Part Shitzu part chihuahua. Growing up we had a border collie with identical colors named Shelly. Mom suggested I name this dog Shelly. While I have yet to completely get over the loss of my childhood dog I did want to honor her and since Shelly was often called Shell-Bell, I felt Shellby was fitting. However, my husband came up with Pixie as she's not going to be very big and she is the runt of the litter. So this is the first animal I've owned that just might end up with 2 names. :-). She's a blessing and a wonderful addition to our family. Neither of our cats seem overly fond of her but Sassy our jack russel who is 5 years old seems to enjoy her playful banter.
